Electric Blower Demo (Part 1 of 5)

Electric Blower – Part 1 of 5 of my Electric Power Tool Demo articles.
The blower was the power tool I didn’t know I needed. I have sidewalks and stone walks in my yard and a decent size driveway which I previously took care of with a broom. A blower is a time saving, convenient replacement. The noise variance to a gas counterpart is enormous. The first time I used a blower, was after a storm. My neighbor a cul-de-sac away, was also using a gas blower. MAJOR noise difference, as seen in the video. Further, the electric blower is, lighter compared to gas, by potentially 10 lbs., powerful, and perfect for a range of tasks.
Electric Blower Review
Quietness – Large variance between electric and gas
Weight – Light and easy to carry for an extended time
Power – Able to handle even large pieces of debris with a turbo button
Usability Score: 5
(Scale is 1-5, 1 worst, 5 best. Score based on ease of use, frequency of use, functionality, features, and storage space.)
The electric blower is convincingly a 5, – easy start functionality, lightweight and maneuverable, additional power for larger tasks.
The only minor limitation that I found was having to use two hands due to increased force. However, this is the purpose of the turbo button, and you do not need to run the blower on turbo full time.
In conclusion, the electric blower is my next purchase. I highly recommend making the conversion, based on noise reduction alone. Plenty of power options are available to meet your needs. Finally, be sure to check out my article Top 5 Reasons to Electrify Your Tools.
