Electric Hedger Demo (Part 3 of 5)

Electric Hedger – Part 3 of 5 of my Electric Power Tool Demo articles.
The electric hedger was the tool that most impressed me. I have more shrubs and hedges than I would like. They can at times become a little messy and unruly, so I decided to test the electric hedger. Having not had a significant amount of hedging experience, I anticipated a heavy hard to maneuver, bulky, device. Instead, what I found was a quite simple, light, and easy to use power tool. When I finished my shrubs and hedges, I was looking for other plants to shape up.
Electric Hedger Review
Favorite Features:
Quietness – I can’t stress how significantly quieter electric tools are compared to gas
Maneuverability – very lightweight and there are no cords to accidentally sever when maneuvering around plants
Flexibility – with a comfortable handle and grip, you are able to really fine tune your trimming.
Usability Score: 4
(Scale is 1-5, 1 worst, 5 best. Score based on ease of use, frequency of use, functionality, features, and storage space.)
The hedger was just short of a perfect score due to infrequency of use. Performance and ease of use is top notch.
Limitation:
I haven’t had the opportunity to use this more than a handful of times. The only drawback for me would be I am not sure how often I would need to use it.
Finally, the flexibility and light weight of this hedger is spectacular, allowing you to move it in any direction or angle, creating the perfectly shaped hedges. For me this is not a necessity, but if you have a strong need to reshape, tame, and control hedges, this tool checks all the boxes. Need more information to convert to electric power tools?
